Hello!! I recently decided I am in love with philodendrons and recently got a "Erubescens" which could mean anything...I have had a Birkin and a Silver Sword for a couple years, no major issues but about a month ago i got about 4 more...on this one, the leaves were getting kinda twisted/curly so I repotted since it was root bound, then officially brought it in the house...now I am seeing tiny yellow dots, leaves are kinda wimpy and it just plain seems unhappy. I do not see anything moving so i don't think bugs, but...can anyone with more experience help and also any tips would be appreciated 😉 thanks!

    I'm going to guess some sort of pest like spider mites or some sort of sucking bug that would also explain the distorting or curling twisting of the plant 😩🙏 that's my very unprofessional opinion let's see what anybody else has to say 🪴🧡

      I agree with Spider Mites. I spray every plant down with Sexy Plant Spray (a girl on TikTok makes it) when I being them home. Then usually once a month when i clean the leaves. its 2 cups water, 2tbs neem oil, 1 tbs peppermint castor soap, and 1 tbs isopropyl alcohol. Put everything in a spray bottle and give your plants a heavy dose on front and back of leaves. Then I wipe mine with mico fiber. It stinks but it works.

    Thank you also junglelovin! I did make that recipe a couple weeks ago I just wasn't sure how to handle this but I am sure you guys are right, treated it this morning, moved away a little from the sun and hoping for the best. I appreciate your responses.

      How do you spray fuzzy plants? I have a cobweb spiderwort that's super fuzzy and a purple passion I don't need to spray them right now but I'm curious how I would if I needed to anybody know? 🤔 I have peppermint neem oil but I found that when I googled what plants would tolerate that it didn't seem like many would ,, but let the people on Amazon tell it it was the best thing out there for every plant... So I've never used it I've thought of using it around the property for mosquitoes but then I'm like it's got to be essential oils and when it rains it's going to be on the ground by the feral cats running around possibly.. IDK
