I would appreciate any tips on how to get variegation on a philodendron white knight.

It has reverted to green. Chop it and hope the new growth will come back with some white.
좋아요 1개Is this the only hope? I really don't want to chop it off, but if that's the only way to get variegation, I'll do it.
0개 좋아요Was there ever any white? It almost looks like it was reverted from the start.
0개 좋아요I think it’ll keep growing green if you leave it. It’s only pushing out green.
좋아요 1개I got it from clearance, and it's never had any white on it. Maybe that's why it was in clearance? Would you just cut it right at the base?
좋아요 1개Variegated plants need lots of light to maintain their coloring, otherwise they do revert back. So I would also increase the light it’s getting.
2개 좋아요It gets quite a bit of light when the sun is shining. It's in a southeast facing window.
0개 좋아요Nice philo! How long have you had this?
0개 좋아요Around two months. I got it around Christmas in the clearance section, I assume because it's so crooked.
좋아요 1개I dont think its a white knight because of the dark red stem.
0개 좋아요A Congo Red perhaps?
좋아요 1개There is white variegation on the stem, though. And the growing style seems so be a bit different.
0개 좋아요Light
0개 좋아요Well, other varieties are the Imperial Red, emerald red, and Andersons red...
0개 좋아요Idk but if you Google white knight without variegation it looks exactly like that
