I would appreciate any tips on how to get variegation on a philodendron white knight.

It has reverted to green. Chop it and hope the new growth will come back with some white.
1 me gustaIs this the only hope? I really don't want to chop it off, but if that's the only way to get variegation, I'll do it.
0 Me gustaWas there ever any white? It almost looks like it was reverted from the start.
0 Me gustaI think it’ll keep growing green if you leave it. It’s only pushing out green.
1 me gustaI got it from clearance, and it's never had any white on it. Maybe that's why it was in clearance? Would you just cut it right at the base?
1 me gustaVariegated plants need lots of light to maintain their coloring, otherwise they do revert back. So I would also increase the light it’s getting.
2 Me gustaIt gets quite a bit of light when the sun is shining. It's in a southeast facing window.
0 Me gustaNice philo! How long have you had this?
0 Me gustaAround two months. I got it around Christmas in the clearance section, I assume because it's so crooked.
1 me gustaI dont think its a white knight because of the dark red stem.
0 Me gustaA Congo Red perhaps?
1 me gustaThere is white variegation on the stem, though. And the growing style seems so be a bit different.
0 Me gustaLight
0 Me gustaWell, other varieties are the Imperial Red, emerald red, and Andersons red...
0 Me gustaIdk but if you Google white knight without variegation it looks exactly like that
