I would appreciate any tips on how to get variegation on a philodendron white knight.

It has reverted to green. Chop it and hope the new growth will come back with some white.

Is this the only hope? I really don't want to chop it off, but if that's the only way to get variegation, I'll do it.

Was there ever any white? It almost looks like it was reverted from the start.

I think it’ll keep growing green if you leave it. It’s only pushing out green.

I got it from clearance, and it's never had any white on it. Maybe that's why it was in clearance? Would you just cut it right at the base?

Not right at the base. You want to leave a few nodes for the buds to grow from. Here’s two of my plants I keep chopping and propping.

Variegated plants need lots of light to maintain their coloring, otherwise they do revert back. So I would also increase the light it’s getting.

It gets quite a bit of light when the sun is shining. It's in a southeast facing window.

Around two months. I got it around Christmas in the clearance section, I assume because it's so crooked.

I dont think its a white knight because of the dark red stem.

There is white variegation on the stem, though. And the growing style seems so be a bit different.
