Hi! Anyone else mislead by this app to the point they lost their plants? My philodendron lost its leaves and almost died because the app says it’s ok to be outdoors in the summer in my region. I reached out for support and they told me otherwise and now the app has been updated to say they can’t be outdoors ever in this regions. First pic is a week a go and second pic is today.
None of the apps are going to be 100% accurate. Always be sure to do additional research when making big changes. Planta is better for managing your schedules as reminders and shouldn’t be followed to the T. Sorry this happened to you. Hopefully you can get Phil to pop back. 😊
2 Me gustaThanks. I was under the impression that the app had done the research and amalgamated it into this platform for people to access..I just got into plants. I am hopeful Phil and his sister (who also looks dreadful) will also bounce back now that they are inside.

Good call. I use it to remind me when I last watered or fertilized but if I watered my cacti as often as it says they would all be dead.

I don't find planta to be particularly helpful when it comes to plant care but it's really helpful for the reminders. I have to Google for proper plant care questions.
