What in the plant weirdism is going on with this new leaf? Its almost like one leaf is emerging from the other instead of a new sheath. Suggestions? Thoughts?

    I don’t have this variation of a philodendron but my thought is that’s how all my philos unfurl their leaves (just may look different depending on the specific type). So I think you’ll end up seeing this as a normal looking leaf and its stem in a few days. Some folks suggest to mist it to help with unfurling.

    That's normal. My florida green gets rather sculptural as he pulls his new leaves out

      Good to know. This is maybe the third or fourth leaf since in my possession but this one just looks odd for some reason.
