my melanochrysum has been on a moss pole for a few months now but doesn’t seem to take to it or get bigger leaves. it is in 40-50% humidity and under a grow light . how can i help it size up? have already chopped and propped once

    How much light does it get and what kind of potting medium is it in?

      a mix of potting soil/perlite/orchid bark, and it’s under a grow light for 12 hours in the day. it’s in a room with a SW facing window but it’s several feet away from it (hence the grow light)

      and it gets fertilized every 2-3 waterings

      How dry is it when you water? If you’re in the US, I’d up the light to 14 hours until we start getting dark earlier. I’d also weaken your fertilizer and fertilize every time you water. They like to be “damp” but not wet.

    Are you watering both the moss pole and the pot? I would let the pot dry out more and mist the moss to “force” the plant to search for water there. I have three large philodendrons on moss poles and I don’t even water the pot anymore

      yes i definitely water the pole more than the pot - i’ll do more of that, thank you!
