Before I purchase, can anyone tell me if this is actually a pink micans? Google is giving me mixed information on whether or not this plant is chemically treated to make it pink or if it’s something that with bright enough light will stay pink.
I’m not sure you can know from a picture. Your best bet is to buy from a nursery you trust.

0개 좋아요 Maybe ask fellow plant lovers about online nurseries. I have found a couple but I’m not sure if they have what you’re looking for. My nurseries are usually baby plant sellers: The Green Escape Orange Lake Nursery Gabriella’s Coolective Plants I hope you find what you’re looking for. Keep in mind that usually once the hype dies down plants become easier to find, cheaper, and less scammers trying to offload fakes. 😉😘

I would only buy a pink micans that look like the photo. These range from $80 to $200. Too expensive to risk buying the one above. 🪴🍀
The one I posted isn’t anywhere near that price so should I take that as a sign that it isn’t a pink version?
좋아요 1개 I can’t say if it is not. You could have found a buyer pricing it lower because it’s not pink yet. I don’t know. You could ask the buyer why the cutting/plant does not have pink leaves if it’s a true pink micans. It’s a risk you have to determine if you want to take. Maybe the price is low enough for you to risk it. I checked the pink micans selling on the Etsy app to come up with the price range. 🪴🍀
