i had this happen to my pink princess, i asked a local plant shop owner and she suggested cutting back on the watering. i did and it seemed to do the trick!

I think you’re over watering doing it once a week. Try going by the plants schedule, I dig my finger in and if 2-3 inches of the top soil is dry that’s when I water her. Good luck let’s us know what works for you if you fix her 👍🏼

could be root rot or sun damage. maybe consider repotting it to check the roots and/or moving it a little further from the window! i don’t know for sure though, that’s just with my experience. when mine was under a grow light, one leaf browned like that. once i moved it, it stopped doing that. & i don’t water as often but mines in a stone pot with one drainage hole at the bottom. i hope it grows new beautiful leafs!

I’ve also read that adding silica to waterings for highly light variegated plants is important to support the areas with less chlorophyll. Maybe that applies here too?
