I grew this guy from a single leaf cutting from what I really thought was a birkin. However, I feel like he should be striping by now… any thoughts as to what philo this is if not birkin? Also, any ideas about the little spots on it?

I believe berkins are prone to reverting to all green. But it would still have more rounded leaves 🤔 Maybe a rojo congo? I think the dots are known as “philodendron rust.” They tend to be on older leaves if the plant went through a period of being overwatered. A few of my philos have them on leaves that were on the plant before I bought them. Hasn’t seemed to cause an issue

Lol I just looked it up because I wasn’t sure if my guess was right. Turns out a reverted birkin is a rojo Congo, so I wasn’t far off 😂 Sorry you didn’t get the plant you wanted

Oh thanks! I had no idea they could revert. I’m glad to know what it is finally. Thanks for figuring it out!
