Mom’s jungle

Just wanted to say hello! And I’m looking for some advice on this lovely lady! She’s currently in a north facing window, supplemented with a grow lamp, as she’s on the bottom shelf. There is humidifier on the top shelf and she’s surrounded by other green friends… but I’m wondering if this is the best place for her?! I live in Northern Alberta Canada, so we will be down to about 6 hours of light per day here pretty quickly!😳😳 And I only have like 2-3 south facing windows, but those are currently jam-packed full of other green babies! Lol! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! TIA!🤗🤗🤗

How long do you leave grow light on? What spectrum is it?

Believe it to be full, and it’s on a 12 hour timer.

That should be plenty of light through winter then ☺️

Hi! The plant is called Philodendron Pink Princess. It is a subtropical species. In its natural environment, its found in the understory part of the forest. This location assures dappled sunlight throughout the day without burning the leaves from direct sunlight. It enjoys drying out a little bit between waterings & does not like soggy roots. Best wishes to you! 😊
