This is Lucy, one of my Philos. Two of her newer leaves have gone yellow. I’ve been following the watering instructions in Planta, which is watering every 9 days. She is in a south-facing plant window. Is it maybe too bright?

Could it be overwatering? Sometimes planta tells me to water a plant but it’s still wet so I need to snooze it a few more times. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I often find myself snoozing Planta as well. I do wait until it is dried out to water again.

I’m still learning myself, so I don’t have any other ideas 🙈

That’s ok. Thanks for trying! 🙂

Also, yellowing leaves could mean certain nutrient deficiencies. If the younger leaves are turning yellow, it’s a possible iron deficiency. Older leaves yellowing: Magnesium deficiency (or it might be Manganese, don’t remember.) I’d just make sure your philo’s getting the right nourishment!
