My philo Brandi has this new leaf that is like, somehow twisted in/through an existing leaf. It’s been like this for a while. Would you just leave it and see what happens or should I try to release it somehow? I can’t even really tell where the petiole ends and the stem/leaf begins 🤔

This happened with my baby soderoi ☹️ I was told by a local nursery owner to up the humidity and mist the plant to help, but last night I got concerned that it had been too long and I released it 🙈 hoping I didn’t tear the leaf … I will update ! But mine was like this for almost 2 weeks 😬

You can try to add a few drops of water to that area/stuck leaf, and very gently massage the water around area. Sometimes helps. But i’m guilty of above comment. My “helping” has at times helped, and other times I’ve broken it by doing so. If its been 2 weeks like this, it it were me, I probably couldn’t stop myself from trying. But it is a risk.
