I’ve been giving my white knight plenty of indirect light and his two new leaves have red in them 🥰

Woah!! I didn’t know they did that. Or do you think it’s a unique mutation?

I googled about the red variegation, and here is what they say: However, the leaves may turn red for a variety of reasons, including: Anthocyanins pigmentation Phosphorus deficiency Too much sun exposure Lack of light Underwatering Camouflage to protect new growth from predators

Hm interesting. Whatever the cause, it sure looks handsome on your knight!

Okay I ended up google diving into it too lol. Apparently white knights can occasionally be tricolor! In the same way that a white princess can become tricolor with pink variegation. That’s exciting! There’s also another pretty red variegated philodendron called red moon. It looks like it’s less of a climbing variety than the knight though I wish my white knight looked like yours but I got it as reverted type lol. Not even any variegation but it still has that pretty red and white racing stripe stem
