hello! i’ve been researching to decide on what i’d like my next plant to be and i settled on the pink princess, but i’m a little unsure as to where i should get mine! i’ve looked at different nurseries near me, online stores, and etsy and there’s just so many different stores and such a wide price range that i’m a little baffled. does anyone have any recommendations, things to look out for, advice on maximizing your plant’s variegation, etc?? thoughts on to splurge or not to splurge?
Not sure if you're in the US, but PPP have been rolling out in nurseries in bigger chains like Home Depot, Lowe's etc for pretty affordable (at least compared to 2021) prices. I would check in those places first to see if you could get a good deal!

It seems like it depends where you live. I’ve started seeing them for cheap here in NH but they’re always very low variegation. I got some, but at the end of the day, the mostly green leaves are kind of a buzzkill. I’ve seen one really well marbled one in person (just yesterday actually lol) but it was much more expensive. Some people on Planta seem to have found really pink ones at big box stores, but it’s kind of luck if you get there first I guess. I think I saw some decently priced ones online. Let me see if I can scrounge up the name again…. Alternatively you can see if there’s any local plant collectors who sell in your area on Facebook marketplace or a local plant exchange group
0 Mi piace We Love Plants LLC was a seller I thought looked good for a splurge. But now that I look back, their shipping is a little steep. Up to you if that’s the route you want to go. Happy growing! ☺️
