Eugene’s plants

Hi plant friends :) new philodendron owner . Noticed the other day a big branch was almost broke off - can I save it ? Do I put in water ? Soil ? Cut it or leave it once it’s completely detached?

I’d say your best shot at saving it is to remove it from the rest of the plant, and chop below the node (this will stimulate new growth). put it in some water and hope it roots 🤷‍♀️ for better chances of growth you can use orchid cloning paste on the stem to stimulate growth!

Thank you for your help and guidance. The branch is in a vase with water …. hopefully 🤞🏾 rooting for it to root

Just be sure to change the water every few days to prevent rot and also use room temp water
