So I just rescued this PPP from walmart. It had a lot more leaves but they were dry and brown so I pruned them. The remaining leaves are green, except for one tiny one that has some slight pink variegation. I’ve been misting and giving it 6 hours under a grow light daily. What should I do to encourage more pink variegation? (Also peep the new leaf sprouting from the main shoot)!

Really make sure it’s getting the humidity and light it needs. No more as the pink leaves will get sunburnt, and no less or else it can revert. Also once it’s back to a point where you can prune again, if you prune back to where the variegation is, it will encourage more like it. However, this is just info I’ve learned from reading multiple sources. Haven’t had my ppp long enough to test for myself.

I know this is contradictory, but I feel like the key to philos is light and humidity. Mine would like more humidity, but I don’t have cabinet space, so she gets what she gets, lol. Mine is a foot from an east facing window, so she gets morning bright light and then bright indirect light for the rest of the day (probably 8 hrs). I have to mist new leaves to get them unstuck, but she grows fine with no burn.
