I need some advice! Pls ignore my temporary pot set up😅 I’m the process of moving. I got this Ficus Lyrata/Fiddle leaf about 2 weeks ago and it seems that his leaves have only gotten more brown. Not sure what I’m doing wrong & would love some suggestions!

    this dark brown looks like sunburn. a lighter brown may indicate under/overwatering. if you move your ficus to a different spot it should subside! I’ve found that fiddles love bright, indirect light. this way their leaves are safe from scorching. if you have your fiddle in a window spot now, I’d suggest moving it a few feet away. as for the brown that is already on the leaves, it’s there to stay. if I notice my fiddle crisp up a bit I usually just trim the brown off (mostly for aesthetics) and he’s fine!

    Check the roots, could be some rot due to overwatering repot add at least perlite especially if you are using store bought potting mix. I personally avoid this

    if the area you keep it in is warm, try moving it somewhere a bit shadier!! if it really really bothers you, prune the affected leaves and always check the roots (never hurts :))
