This is one of my pride propagations. My White Princess Philodendron. Originally there were two solid white leaves and the one half and half. She seems to be holding steady in the soil but the two white leaves are wilted and brownish. They aren’t hard or brittle. She isn’t in direct light and there is actually a new white leaf sprouted. Someone else told me that it’s normal for the all white leaves to do that as they are much more delicate and do not absorb the nutrients from light sources the way green leaves do. Thoughts? I don’t want to lose her. She is one of my favorites.

That is correct. The chlorophyll in the green part of the plant is what performs photosynthesis and creates energy for the plant, so the all white leaves won’t last very long

All white is bad and will always die back. It does look amazing though

Thank you. I do love the all white and can appreciate them as they do grow. At least I know they will die sooner and it’s normal.
