my white wizard philodendron is outgrowing its small wooden stake and i need ideas for how to support it. i like the idea of self-watering moss poles, but are they worth the investment? thanks in advance!

I personally am not a fan of anything self watering because there are so many things that can change the frequency of watering needs for a plant and self watering products aren’t able to keep up. However I do recommend stackable spaghnum moss poles. You can water these to make your plants nodes grow into it and when it gets too buy you can get another one and just stack it on top.

thanks! i may have misspoke slightly. i should have specified by self-watering i meant the trofolia moss grow pole. pricier but has a funnel so that watering is easier. not sure if it’s worth the price point.

I actually LOVE those!! Great way to get bigger leaves by establishing aerial roots!
