So I got a clipping of this lovely plant and it wasn’t a clean cut (ripped off plant) and after a few days looked slimy at the bottom of node… so I chopped off the damaged bottom of node and started fresh (added some plant food to water this time) will she make it?? Why are the leaves doing this? 🥲🥲

Yours does not have a node, here is my aglaonema with nodes on the stem for an example.

Try pulling that last leaf off sometimes nodes like to hide! And no worries I’ve definitely taken cuttings in the beginning of my planty journey with no nodes lol everyone does it. It’s a learning process! Also makes sure you change the water every week-week and a half

There is a raised area on the bottom left side, it may sprout a root there, also, I would do as Rikkay recommended and carefully take off the bottom leaf, or looks like you have a baby leaf coming out there as well. Good luck!

Hi! If there’s no node it will not grow roots. As for the leaves in circumstances you do have a node. Your cutting will naturally put all its energy into the roots/ node resulting in yellowing of the leaves on the cutting ( this is completely normal) these leaves look like they may be wilting as opposed to just yellowing. Hard to say tho. Depending on the type of philo roots will start showing themselves within 2-3 weeks. Maybe give it that time? Hope that helps!
