hey gang my philodendrons take so long to pop out new leaves, and both my pink princess and white wizard philodendrons keep giving me teeny tiny leaves. any ideas to 1. make philodendron leaf growth faster 2. grow bigger and fuller leaves for philodendrons i’ve tried more food, more light, more water… not really sure what else to do anything helps!!! 💗💗
Try propping them up! A wooden chopstick would do in a pinch, but it helps them focus on growth vs keeping themselves upright.
2 Likes Also try seeing if they have too big of roots for the pot, sometimes if their roots arent packed enough they don’t like the pot… hope this helps!! Sending happy plant vibes your way!

1 Like Of course!! Philodendrons usually like their pots a bit smaller than you think but if they’re rootbound they def need a new pot. Let me know if you need any advice or anything else!! Happy planting!!!

If you recently repotted they might be spending their time growing roots not leaves. Also my more rare philodendrons also grow pretty slow so I think it’s just normal. For large leaves try giving your plant a moss pole to climb on which mimics a tree trunk like in nature.
