I'm frustrated with quite a few of my philos growing so quickly! I know, such a bad problem, right!?! Although, what's happening is I've needed to help them "unstick" two leaves at the same time!! I love the growth, but they're such a twisted mess right now. No matter how gentle I try to be, I accidentally damage a leaf. To help with this problem, I've grouped them together, I'll do the warm wrap, I moved a mini humidifier near them...anyone else going through this?
If they keep getting stuck it might either not be humid enough or they might need slightly more water to power through leaf development. I have like 3 new leaves all at different stages of development on my Florida ghost and had to unstick one as well. I moved it closer to the humidifier onto a lower shelf and the newest leaf to come out did it all by itself. The humidity at my bottom shelf is around 50-65% and drops around 8% per shelf up so I try to keep those more delicate leafed plants towards the bottom. If yours is already by the humidity it could just be the water in the soil. Mines on a wick n grow pot from the store still and that’s been keeping the soil at a decently hydrated level

I’ve had this issue with my split leaf philodendron but granted she was a bit shocked because I got her before I knew you can’t repot plants the same day you get them.

I’ve never seen that /that/ intense but I do often check my leaves and if I see one is setting in the sheath of the main leaf and is pretty defined - I use my finger nail to cut thru it along the seam to allow for my space to grow

I’m having the same issue. There are four leaves trying to unfurl. I do keep the soil moist, mist it and it has a humidifier. I try not to help the unfurling. I don’t want to damage the leaf. All those things do seem to help some, it’s still taking forever.
