Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question , my orchid on one side is started to die off Should I remove the flowers and stem ? Should I get a new stem? Will it grow back ?

    How long did it flower? Once they’re done blooming you can cut it at the base to let the plant focus energy on growing new leaves and roots and wait for the next bloom.

    It flowered for about month or so , so it will grow back and bloom again?

      yep! orchid spikes regrow year after year, often multiple times a year. chop the flower spike down to the base and resume care as usual.

    Cut the stem of the flower part at the base of the orchid leaves. Keep the orchid moist but not rotting. There are orchid spikes / orchid food you can buy to “feed” the orchid. The plant food is not *necessary* but the orchid cannot put out new flowers without it. Best of luck!

      Oh! And when the new flower stem does start to come out, make sure to give it support like it had in the pictures :)

    The spikes work but if you have a chunky mix of bark etc you’ll want to water right over that spike so it drains over the whole plant. Bark isn’t going to “pull it out” of the spike as well as dirt might, so to speak. You can also crush the spike and sprinkle it before watering. Either way only do those things when it’s in active growth. That could be a new leaf or blooms or stalk. If an orchid is completely dormant (sitting still with no new green bits appearing), the fertilizer spikes won't be absorbed and can just sit there and rot the bark or burn the roots. Good luck!
