Hi all, new here and new to plants in general. I have this beautiful Pink princess philodendron that I have set up in hydroponics. She's been doing great with the top leaf being new since getting her. I have a question however. Today I came home from work and the whole top of the plant has turned. I have her close to a south facing window so lots of bright indirect light. What could cause such a drastic turn? And should I try and attach her to the plant pole to straighten back out or leave her be? I added a picture from the day I transfered her to water for comparison

    Plants always turn towards the direction of the light. This is optional, but I like to rotate my plants a quarter clockwise turn during every watering to keep them even. As for the pole, I have all my philodendrons on a pole but I’m not sure if it’s “mandatory” I do notice larger leaves when I give them poles.

    Thank you! The pole is temporary my oldest child just moved away for school so her room is slowly turning into the plant room. Im planning on getting a trellis for them for a little more support.

      That should work out great! They’re forgiving they can do without a pole for a bit

      One other thing I noticed in the photos just now… make sure the Velcro isn’t too tight because it can cut off circulation. Plant looks great though!! 😊
