Anyone know what might be going on with my philodendron birkens?? I just recently watered, previously the soil was very dry. Thinking it may have to do with humidity? The new leafs are turning brown on one plant and the other seems to be rotting or rotting from the center when new growth occurs. Any help would be amazing 💗
Hi? How do your roots look? was the plant okay prior to watering? and was there a chance you over watered? new leaves can also be turning brown due to being scorched, is your plant is bright indirect light like the plant prefers?
0개 좋아요 roots look good, no rotting. The plant was showing browning before watering so i let it dry out fully before watering again. I have the plant under a grow light.

Hi there, are the dark green leaves turning brown? Or just the white ones? If it’s just the white, I would expect that to happen to them all eventually because they can’t photosynthesise. If you’re constantly getting white leaves, it could be the grow lights if it’s a purple light, I would try putting it under a full spectrum white grow light to see if that would encourage more green leaves to grow.

I add silica to my watering can once a month. It helps keep varigated plants white longer.
