Please tell me how to fix it! I purchased this philodendron Brandt off of Etsy. It arrived broken. I snipped it and placed it in soil. I kept it wet and I put it underneath a grow light and just keeps dying and sun stressing.

    Personally, I would toss the two to the right, and keep the small vine. Pull the dead leaf off and trim after the 2nd or 3rd node (whichever you feel more comfortable with) and propagate in water for a while until you get some solid roots. My concern is that the plant may be in shock which already makes it hard to recover, so you may have to compensate for that by letting the water propagation roots to be plentiful so it can recover.

      So don’t put it back in soil and wait for the roots to?

      cutting it at the node and putting it into a jar/cup of water to propagate would be best! just leave the clipping in the cup til it grows it own roots. Once the roots are decent in length (i always shoot for 3+ inches) then I would plant in soil again! That’s just what’s worked for me in the past
