House Plant Habit

This is my second time have a philodendron hope and the leaves tend to open tilt backwards instead of reaching up like hands. Does anyone know why this is?

    Have you considered using a moss pole or a plank to brace it?

    humidity they dont like to be in dry air so either place more plants around it put it in your bathroom or get a humidifier

    The leaf will look like the older leaves as it ages. New leaves/veins hang because they are translucent, pale green, soft and flexible while opening. They harden in about 1-2 weeks becoming opaque, thicker with the veins becoming sturdy and straight. It takes about 1-2 weeks to get the cup like darker sturdy leaves. My monstera’s new leaf took about 10 days to look like the older darker leaves. It was pale green, thin and translucent when it opened. The photos were taken 17 days apart. 🪴🍀
