I keep mine directly under a grow light

Drought tolerant. Definitely err on the side of caution when watering to avoid rot and mine loves its moss pole!

Thanks for that info… I’ve never used a moss pole before. Anything special I should know before I purchase one and do I purchase it right now? What size? TXS for any info. 😊🪴

I recommend getting the plastic ones that you fill with sphagnum moss and not the metal ones that are exposed to the air on all sides because they dry out so quickly

Good strong light and provide a support!

Are these type of philodendron leggy? How do I find out more information about her?🤔

On her info card, it says she “will tolerate low light conditions” and will be “perfect in a humid bathroom”. I was going to put her in my bathroom, but the light is very low and it sounds like she likes lots of bright light but not direct light?? 😵‍💫

Oooo yeah that card is no help. They do like humidity, yes. However, if you want to keep the pink variegation strong and have less leggy growth, you’ll need stronger lighting. I have mine in an east window where he gets direct sun for about three hours each morning and indirect the rest of the day. House plant journal has some good explanations on light.

Thanks so much for that info. I missed your comment and read it just now. I’m unfamiliar with House Plant Journal but will check it out. 😊💚🪴
