I have this Philodendron Brasil I got about a year ago and it’s been doing well for awhile, (I’ll admit it got off to a rough start) but recently it’s began dropping its older leaves, I’m not too worried because it still has plenty of new growth but does anyone know what the problem could be?

It could be overwatering or insufficient lighting. Check the soil to see if there is root rot. Check if the soil drains easily. You may have to add perlite or other aggregate to increase drainage. Check the soil is dry before watering using a bamboo skewer. Ensure the plant gets about 10 hours of bright indirect light. Fertilize at least once a month in colder months. 🍀🪴
