Just showing off my golden pothos. Iâve had her for a year and sheâs has just been living her best life in my home office! :)
Quick question for yall? Scales or bugs? Or just regular growth on this guy?
Is it a good idea to put my pothose on a moss pole? Because Iâm not shure what to do?
Help please! I got these lemon meringue Pothos in the mail yesterday, and was repotting them tonight, because thatâs just how I am, and found all these spots on the leaves. Is this rust fungus? The leaves were already wet when I realized there were spots all over them, so Iâm not sure if there was any powder on them or not. If so, what would be the best course of action to prevent it from spreading to all of my other plants. I have cut almost all of the leaves off of the pothos that have the spots on them.
Hey. Got this beauty today. Some of the leaves have a lot less of the curling than some of the others. How do you maintain the curls? Or is that something the plant will do on its own? Is it like variegation where you need to maintain certain light requirements or something? Any tips and tricks on the care is most welcome! Thanks in advance.
I have a love/hate towards an African Violet. I love when I buy them. Then it stops flowering. All I get for MONTHS is green leaves; NO FLOWERS! What am I doing wrong?
Bought this pothos 19 days ago. It looked healthy and beautiful, but just in the last couple days Iâm finding yellowing leaves. When I bought it, the soil was extremely wet, so I watered it for the first time 3 days ago. I didnât notice any problems with the leaves at that point. Now there are four bad ones on various parts of the plant. It has put out several new leaves over the last couple weeks as well. I am not sure whether this is a water problem or a light problem, or something else. The plant is next to a south facing window and there is also an east facing window with a covered porch nearby. Originally I placed the plant against the wall next to the south facing window, but I was concerned it wasnât getting enough light to keep the variegation distinct, so Iâve been pulling it over toward the window - on the west side of the south facing window - to catch the light in the first part of the day. Would this be too much? I find it strange that the yellow appeared after the first time I watered it, and I just remembered that I watered it with the same watering can (fresh rain water) that I fed a couple other plants with. So it did get a normal dose of Epsoma organic houseplant food. Maybe it didnât like that? AnywayâŠ.sorry so long. Just trying to give a full picture of this plantâs recent experience and wondering what I should do. Any insights greatly appreciated.
Grabbed some cuttings from my mom â known golden, but âgrocery store mysteryâ on the variegateds. The image is two leaves on the same cutting â are we looking at nâjoy or perhaps glacier? A lot of the leaves on mama plant have interior variegation rather than white on the margins. She has two variegated pothos and unfortunately I wasnât paying attention to sorting, so I may have mixed together. Initially started these in water but decided after a day to just try soil â will let you know how it goes!
Hii !! I just brought this new manjula pothos home and she has a brown leaf !! Help what do I do!Should I cut the brown off ? Or the whole leaf ? Please help any tips is greatly appreciated
Is this pot too big to repot my pothos? Thank you!
Is this neon pothos variegated đČđ€
Wish us luck! This would be my fourth pothos from one small clipping, years ago. Mama is also pictured below!
Hello everyone!! I bought this pothos about a month ago. In all my life, I have never been able to keep plants alive, but Iâm hoping this time around, Iâll have a better time of it! The other day, I cut yellow and some browning leaves off (not from the hanging parts, from the main pot). Iâm worried I might be overwatering, so I am going to adopt the chopstick idea. What Iâm wondering now is if the grow light is also a problem? I donât have windows to put this guy in because I live on the main floor of an apartment building (zero privacy if curtains are open). Will this set up work?
Hello everyone! i just joined this group and hope to help and learn from you all! Here are some props i have because i want a fuller plant. I decided to do a big chop on my golden. I also recently got some cuttings from my local plant shop of a marble queen. Iâm expecting a pearls and jade from canopy plant co. in the mail within next couple days. I seem to have quite a bit of white variegation on some leaves of my golden as well. I hope to separate them from the yellow to increase the white variegations. So, if anyone has any tips on growing props please let me know. I tested two in perlite, most in water, and my marble queen in a chunky soil/ prop box because they already had been rooted in soil. Thanks for any help you guys can give! (p.s âŠand yes in the background i am cultivating lady finger cactus cuttings in a mcdonaldâs hot cake container⊠i save what i can lol)
Look at my pothos go! I love this plant so much
What could be causing this damage too my now not so beautiful pothos? My top suspicion is root rot because some stems/arms are literally falling off because they rotted
Iâm not sure what the problem is but some of the leaves on my big girl are turning yellow. Sheâs got new shoots and leaves but also these few problem leaves. I mist her regularly which is necessary because it is very dusty in Lubbock. Before now I havenât had any problems, not even after transplanting her. Any help appreciated
Help, I messed up!!! I was watering my golden pothos with fertilizer just now, and the cup I was using to mix the water + fertilizer had remnants of laundry detergent in it. I only realized this after I watered the pothos and smelled the laundry detergent, then the realization hit me. Iâve since then rinsed the soil four times by putting the pothos under the tap water, and barely see any bubbles in the soil, but I donât know what I should do. The plant is in wonderful condition and doesnât need to be repotted, I would hate to have to bother it with soil changes while itâs so healthy and happy, but if thatâs what you guys think I should do, let me know!
Iâve had this golden cuttin in water for like 5-6 weeks now or so I think. What are these little white dots? Are they roots? Seems like odd development compared to the rest.
Why do I have these white specks on my leaves?
