Is watering my neon pothos with water from my fresh water fish tank beneficial or will it just kill it? Every time it needs a watering or just for when it needs fertilizing? Or just don't even go there all together? I'm wondering if it's a good nutrient source since we're doing about a weekly cleaning to the ~47 gallon tank where 1/4th of the water gets dumped anyway. He's over 3 feet long in a six inch pot of pearlite mixed with peat and some sand.
Is this pearls n jade?
I am very new to the plant world. I put one of my pothos in water about 2 weeks ago. How often should I change the water? It seems like slimy stuff is developing in the water around the roots.
Has anyone else had their pearls and jade throw an almost fully green leaf? Have had the plant over a year and never had a leaf come out like this. Can they revert?
If I cut up half this long vine into sections to prop it, is that too much stress for the main plant? Wasnât sure if the âno more than 25%â rule applied here as is it does to pruning, removing roots, etc.

Hello fellow pothos parents, I have noticed that some of my pothosâ larger leaves are turning yellow. Due to it being winter season, my pothos receives six hours of âsunlightâ from a plant light. I try to water it according to Plantaâs schedule, but it appears very droopy before the next watering. My pothos will appear healthy then will begin to droop severely before the watering day scheduled by Planta. Due to this, I will water it sooner (bottom water) and it will perk right up. A few days later I will notice another yellowing leaf. Most of its leaves are healthy, but it is beginning to lose many that are on long vines quickly. Is it being underwatered, overwatered, or is it just inconsistent watering that is stressing it out? Is the light too much or not enough? Any advice and information is greatly appreciated!
Little appreciation for my baby, 1st when I got her, 2nd currently. Shes in a chunky mix, was on a sphagnum moss pole but that dried out so quick and pissed me off so moved to a coco coir pole recently.
I may be over worried, but does anybody know if itâs normal for my pothos to be so droopy near the top??

This was one long stem and the root broke off so I pin wheeled him and have been attempting to get new growth. There hasnât been much new growth and it looks like the leaves are starting to curl. Any tips?
My Everly, she had a mushy leaf and this other leaf that rotted at the base?? I took her out and everything looks ok. I cut off the spots that the leaf came from just in case. What happened??
Finally think Iâm getting the hang of things! My plant was thirsty, but I had no idea why because I was following the appropriate watering schedule, but then I learned that nursery soil can get sort of compacted where the water goes around and drains straight out of the nursery pot. So I put her in a bowl of water to reset and boom! She stopped looking so sad and droopy! Still unsure if I should cut off the burnt ends on a few of those leaves or rip it all out completely . But Iâm cherishing these small wins:)
Just potted today had it in water for about 5 weeks developing roots , plant come from my grandmother so itâs very important to me any advice?
