Hi all! I just repotted this pothos and I’m a new plant mama, so I was just wondering if I should be concerned about the one leaf with some damage with the yellow around it? All the rest of the leaves look perfectly fine and healthy, but this leaf has gotten more yellow in the last day or so. Should I just keep an eye on it or cut this leaf off or what?? Thank you!!

hello! i picked up this golden pothos from a whole foods because he was looking real sad. he’s perked up quite a bit over the last couple of days, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me what these marks could be from and how to prevent them in the future? he was stuffed behind some other plants on a shelf far away from the sun so i don’t think it’s a sunburn, but i could be wrong. thanks in advance!
Can anyone answer if these little ones can produce more plants as it vines or will it just continue to grow? I’m going keep it in water but I am curious if it’s possible for these to turn into something fuller without adding more pothos. They’re from one cutting btw. Thanks in advance!!
What is the best type of trellis system for my Baltic blue Pothos? She’s growing like crazy and has outgrown this and two other smaller versions of trellises. This is what she looks like currently; the second picture is a trellis I put together, which is expandable up to 70 inches. It’s pretty sturdy, but I feel like it’s overkill. I thought about a moss pole, but it doesn’t seem like she would be as pretty if she were all bunched together on a pole rather than being spread out. I need some opinions from pathos owners in the know. TIA for your astute opinions. 😊💚🪴
My marble queen pothos is struggling. This was one of my first ever plants in 2021. She has always grown really nicely. However, within the last year she continues to get yellowed leaves that I eventually prune off. It’s becoming more habit now despite remaining in the same location and being on Planta’s watering schedule. She’s finally showing signs of new growth, and I have a prop of hers growing downstairs that is growing more beautifully than the original plant ever has. New leaves coming in on the original plant are very pale and not like the typical marble queen leaves. Any thoughts on why her leaves continue to yellow despite no major changes to water/light? All of my plants are due for a soil/fertilizer change next weekend so hoping to tackle that and see if it helps but also worried nothing is going to bring her back to her former glory.
left her outside in the sun for three days and i come back to this!!! online it said they like full sun, i had no idea they could get sunburn. she is inside now, will the leaves recover? is there anything i can do to help?
first time pothos owner, put them in some bottles. it’s been about a week and they still look good. hoping it stays that way!
Plant mom
Say hello to the newest baby in my plant family! Haven’t come up with a solid name yet, so I’ll just call her Pothy for now. She’s a bushy one too 😆 I was getting my stepmom a pothos for Mother’s Day and ended up nabbing one for myself too!
I was able to propagate a new plant from my jade pothos. This was growing with its own root system and I didn’t like the look of it in with the big one. So I took it out, all the roots came with it, and I planted it its own pot. Now I will have two! Plants are so cool!
I thought this was so cool. This is my neon pothos, it’s not variegated at all but this beautiful leaf has this deep green on the top. It’s so cool! Is this normal? I’ve only had this plant about 5 months. First time I’ve seen this. I only have a jade and then a Brazil (which is neon and deep green like this). Thoughts??
I’m getting ready to plant my pothos in soil. I have soil and little plant pots. Any suggestions before I get started?
hi all:) i’ve been growing this golden pothos for over a year now. just recently i was gifted small props to put into my pot and two of the three seem to be doing well. however the thrillers really seems to be struggling. anyone know a cause for this? also, i just recently cut some leaves off that grew in shriveled because they started to turn brown and yellow. i thought that was going to be the end of it until leaves on the same vine started to turn yellow and a new leaf on the other side came in small and half shriveled and brown. another new leaf came quickly after that one and hasn’t had the chance to unfurl yet but the tip is already completely brown and soft. important notes: i repotted about a month ago at this point thank you for any and all help!
So I repotted this plant into smaller pot about a month or 2 ago. It’s a lot of separate stems in one pot. The first picture is the original pot, the second is after the repot, and the third is just now. As you can see the look of the leaves are very different now. I lost quite a few leaves when I first repotted, and majority of the leaves are still limp and thin. I have them propped up. I think that is due to me soaking them in a water/peroxide mix too long when I repotted. It looks like thrip damage but there are none. I bring it in the bathroom when I shower for the humidity. It stills seems to be struggling. Any help is accepted!
Golden Pothos isn’t trailing? So I’ve had a golden pothos for a couple of years now and it’s really full and healthy looking and continually spouts new leaves. However, it’s not vining or trailing. It kinda just grows in a clump. Again looks really healthy and I don’t mind if it doesn’t trail but is there a reason why it isn’t? Thanks.
Just got this baby neon pothos about 4 days ago, watered it twice, replanted in a pot with drainage, have it on the windowsill / indirect light. Why are the leaves droopy with slight discoloration? please help im new here
Is this normal on potho roots??? It’s one solid circle and very sturdy.Should I cut or keep? Bought these today at Lowe’s on clearance . They were mixed in a decorative pot (zero drain holes)with three other plants. Got it home and dumped it out .
Just wanted to share how well this big lady is growing for me!:)
Could someone help me identify what type of pothos I have here? Parts of the plant make me think golden, parts of the plant make me think marble queen. It was struggling when it was given to me, after a good repot and some better lighting these colors and leaves have started to show. (Please excuse the dirty leaves, the pollen where ai live is ruthless)
I got this beauty for a Mother’s Day gift to my mom! 😍 as far as I can tell she’s very healthy!
