Would like advice on my marble queen: have had her since mid December (2024) and I repotted it into this shallow container (it's in a plastic pot for easy watering). Anyway my question is; do I need to be concerned with the plant base being slightly above the soil (see pics)? It's just a mound of soil in the center. She has been growing beautifully, so I don't want to repot if it's not necessary as I've heard they can get transplant shock. Just rethinking if I might have picked too small a pot for it. TIA 🫶🏼

Help! I planted these (3) pothos propagations about a month ago and they seem to be slowly dying. One of them already completely died so I cut it off. I don’t know what to about the rest. I planted them when their roots were a good 3-4 inches long

I’ve had this plant on a trellis for several months now and she’s put out quite a bit of new leaves. But I really don’t like the way it looks on a trellis, I’ve decided. I’d much rather have it trail. Will it do that if I take the trellis out? Or will it go into shock or something?

Accidentally over watered Panda a couple weeks ago and I thought I realized soon enough but he got root rot and I had to cut off the last few good stems 😔 luckily he's doing better and this is what he's looking like 2 days after I cut him. Leaves are pirkier and my niece absolutely loves him!

Is it time to prop? I’m scared to make the cut!! She’s my first baby so I don’t want to hurt her but the vine is nearly 8’ long and I’ve got it wound around my plant stand to keep it outta the way, which makes watering annoying. I kinda want to do a mixed pot of all 3 of my pothos and a moss pole…is it prop time? 😥😥😥

🆘 So, I bought a moss pole for my baby, Molly (on the brown chair), because she's growing so dang fast and I want her to have somewhere to go besides down. The stick doesn't exactly fit the small pot she came and I'm not sure if I place her in a bigger pot so I can stabilize the stick more without disturbing her roots too much. Should I place her in a bigger pot? My other baby, Millie (on the dresser) seems to be growing much slower if at all. She's in a different room than the other and doesn't get as much light. I'm considering moving her to the same room as Molly to see if she thrives better there. I also don't want her to lose any variegation (is that a thing, can it happen?). Should I repot her into something bigger as well? Would that help encourage her to grow? Appreciate any advice! 🫶

Help please with my Cebu pothos. It’s been growing like crazy but I noticed a few yellow leaves and it always looks kinda droopy. Even though I can’t see any pests I decided I would chopNprop, after treating the props. Then I lifted it from its pot and see all these roots and it seems pretty damp, well ok wet. It’s in pon. Would you repot or have a funeral??

Hey Planta fam!!! I just saved this gem from Wally World lol overall the plant looked fine minus these 2 leaves. I’m sure it could mean many things but is it necessary to remove them or will it be harmful down the road to the plant?

Hiiii I am very new to plants. I bought this beaut at Lowe’s. It’s my first pothos. Inside of the white hanging pot is a plastic pot with drainage holes. When I went to water it I saw these roots coming out from the bottom. Does this mean I should repot it to a bigger pot? Or just leave it be?

Any idea what I’m doing wrong here? At first I thought I was over watering with the yellow leaves. But I’m also getting leaf curl? It has a decent quality grow light near it plus some natural light. Any advice welcome. I’ve had her for 6 months and she just keeps slowly declining and has lost a lot of volume.

Repotted my pothos Philip about two weeks ago and hes been like this ever since. How can I fix this?? Is this just a case of shock??
P.s three of my other plants that I repotted are reacting the same way.

Ok my plant friends I need some advice. My beautiful pothos keeps getting yellow leaves with ugly black spots. This plant site recommended checking for thrips which it has none. Then stated maybe a nutrient deficiency. I watered with fertilizer, sprinkled old coffee grounds in soil, I washed each leaf with insecticidal soap and used neem oil!! 🤔😏Help plant friends!! Should I just get rid of the soil? I normally use miracle grow potting soil for all my pothos. However, this soil is something I purchased from a local nursery. I’m at a loss now on what to do next HELP!!
