An update on my baby growing new leaves where old ones had fallen off! Turns out not only were they leaves, but they grew in almost white. I love the variation in all the variegation (😂) all in one plant! The two shades you see are literally from the same plant. 😲🤯

What’s wrong with this cutting? I took the cutting with the 3 circled leaves at the same time as the one directly to the right of it. When I added them back into the pot, the circled leaves immediately started getting floppy and curled up, no matter how much I watered my pothos (I was careful not to overwater, of course). It was like this for a while until I finally pulled it out to inspect the roots, which were brown. I cut off those roots and put the cutting back in some water to let new roots grow from other nodes. Once those roots got long enough, I put the cutting back into the pot, and the leaves became floppy again. This time, though, the roots looked perfectly healthy! What’s going on? Do some cuttings just not survive the transfer into soil? Obviously the two cuttings are getting the same care since they’re right next to each other, so I can’t figure out what the problem is! Do I need to stop trying to save this cutting and just try again with a new one?

A story about a leaf without a node that wasn’t gonna die and instead rooted like a boss from the SPLIT of its petiole and produced pups(?) 10mo later. Today, mama upgraded from a propagation tube to a pot. Fingers crossed she loves soil. 🥹
I have watched this astonishing single leaf persevere and give no Fs for nearly a year and didn’t think there would ever be any new growth. I added fluval stratum a few months ago and unbelievably the new leaves quickly crowded the glass! I am optimistic it’ll be a success! Cross your fingers with me! 🤞
The back story on the leaf: it began as a normal propagation with a vine and node that failed and rotted. I kept cutting it back and sterilizing hoping it would still be able to root. Eventually I had to carve around the node and it ultimately ended up coming off, leaving this leaf with a mutilated petiole as close to the node that once remained. I fully expected it to die, but I usually hang on until it’s gone gone. Somehow, despite the node no longer being there, the leaf actually grew roots. The first root came out from the split of the petiole that no longer had a vine or node attached. It seemed unreal and still has me shocked today. The leaf has slowly yellowed and cracked, but has not died. The pups were a super surprise. I never thought this little leaf who could would ever get a pot with soil. I should have tried sooner. 💕

Hello folks, I have this Pothos that’s currently growing from two propagated vines. Should I go ahead and cut and propagate part of the longer vine so the plant doesn’t just grow long and leggy? I’d add the new propagation to this plant to make it fuller. Or should I wait? If I should prop now, where on the longer vine should I cut it? Thanks for the help!

Beginner plant mom here! My marble queen pothos has hit a huge growth spurt recently and is sprouting leaves all over and has grown in size substantially. Her root system has also grown a lot, I’ve noticed lots of long roots hanging out of the drainage holes. She’s still in her nursery pot, and I’m wondering if it’s time to repot based on the long dangling roots. I pulled her out to have better a look at her roots - does this look like she’s outgrowing her pot? Should I repot or hold off for now? TYIA!

Added a second layer moss pole. Such a pain, but so worth it. Hopeful for bigger leaves. 🫠

Trying to bring these babies back. Today I added liquid plant food to the water. Hope to see improvement in the next few weeks.

The very first plant that started my plant journey. Starting this year on April, while going through recovery from two surgeries.
Kinda proud of myself for sticking to it, even though I have no clue on what the hell I’m doing. Lol
