Hi everyone, I would like some advice on how to better take care of my pothos in regards to my set up. Due to space, I need them to stay on top of my dresser, but I wanted to know if theres anything I am doing wrong at face value. Any feedback would be appreciated! Also, I am adding the other spots I have my baby pothos in my room and would like the same advice. Thank you so much in advance.
How far from the window is your dresser? They like medium light but can do really well in full depending on the verity. You could likewise get a grow bulb for you lamp and try to position it so the plant can take advantage of it. Looks super healthy for its set up!
좋아요 1개 My dresser is about 4ft from the window. I noticed that of the three on top of the dresser, the one closest to the window looks the best whereas the one furthest is the most sparse. I'll look into a grow bulb for that one, thank you!
좋아요 1개 That makes sense they need light for photosynthesis so the more they get the faster/better they grow. 4ft might be too far depending on how much light the window gets overall and which direction it’s facing. (Ie a south window will get the most light and a north window tends to get only morning light if you’re in the northern hemisphere)

Many plants will do better in the dark than they do right up next to a window. Its the first and hardest lesson i learned, many dead plants shriveled in the sun here. I dont see any problems, you dont even need a growlight if you dont want one. Put them in the sun if youre feeling they need more light.

0개 좋아요You can get a free light meter for your phone, for iPhone it’s just called light meter and looks like a lens. It will measure the light in different areas so you can know if they are getting enough.

If you feel like you want more light for them to grow faster then add a grow light, but pothos do well in all types of light. I've had a golden pothos for 7 years and it's been in medium light for all that time with no grow light. She has produced many offspring and has many trailers. Your setup seems fine to me.
