The Alley of 221B

I was gifted this beautiful lady about a week ago today. She didn’t start drooping until three days after I got her. The water was saturated so I did an emergency change of soil. She’s drooping like crazy, but no yellow leaves. Please tell me it’s just transplant shock and that I haven’t destroyed this beautiful baby.

It’s a pothos, it will recover. Benign neglect is the way to go right now. It doesn’t need anything from you except indirect light and to be left alone while it gets its roots in order and adjusts to the new situation. Less is more.

That’s what I was hoping that I needed to do. She is on my shelf left alone. 👍🏻

I had almost the exact same scenario with this same plant lol Did the new soil mix, gave just a little water and just let it be and about a week and a half later she started to perk up and now she’s doing great. They are hard to completely kill off so I wouldn’t worry too much. Mine ended up losing maybe 4-5 leaves through it all, but is doing great now a few weeks later. Check your soil before watering to make sure you don’t overwater and I bet yours will recover just fine!!
