Has anyone tried climbing their pothos?? (Not my photo!!) I’ve seen a few on socials and I’m thinking about trying it…

    This was my Golden Pothos on a moss pole before I sold it. Top leave was 18inches.

      Ok, I’m sold on this idea now!! I’ve heard they even fenestrate sometimes

      Yes they do fenestrate when mature. I tried to get this one to but figured I’d have to add 1 or 2 more extensions before it was going to happen.

    I tried it. The newest leaf is bigger than my hand. The downfall is that it grows fast and you need to keep extending the pole, also dries out quick. But you should try it!! 😁

      I guess I hadn’t considered how quickly they grow 😅 my pothos are growing so fast just as trailers

    Is this only on moss poles or any trellis?

      I would assume just moss poles for this amount of growth, because the roots grow into the moss for support, water and nutrients! That’s how they get so big

    Mine climbed all by itself! It so enjoyed the window it was NEXT TO- NOT IN FRONT OF that she grew all the way across a 5’long window sill and up the wall 5’ and across the sconce at the top. Then we cut it, and cut it, and cut it. Now it is three climbing Pathos each over 20’ long and I am getting ready to do some more cuttings but not before March, now that the days are shortening here in the north.

    I bought a batch of 1 meter bamboo sticks to create stakes and climbing sticks, not expensive or unattractive and they hold up well in any environment.
