Hey! I got a bunch of pothos cuttings from my teacher a few months ago, and they’re all doing really well. I’ve been propagating one since i got it, and it’s totally healthy, but recently its roots have gone crazy. I was planning on potting it this weekend because of it, but now there’s even more, and I just wanted to make sure everything is okay! Probably overthinking it, though.
I’d wait until the secondary roots are a little longer! Also when you pot it up in soil, make sure to keep the soil wet for two weeks while it adjust!

Everything is fine! Honestly I just put my golden pothos props straight back into the soil and they do pretty well

I put them in soil with at least 2 inches of roots. I will add rooting hormone powder. I also add fertilizer and SuperThrive Plant Vitamins when I water the first time. I water and let the soil dry down about 75%. I don’t keep the soil constantly moist to avoid root rot from the bacteria and fungus in soil that you don’t usually find rooting in water unless you don’t change the water. 🪴🍀
1 mi piaceWhen I let the roots grow longer than 3 inches I usually lay the cuttings out on paper towels for a few hours so the roots dry a bit and then plant them in equal parts potting soil, perlite and orchid bark and water it.
