my first MAJORRRR plant fail and now I feel like a horrible person. keep your isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide 10 feet apart!!!!! I got them switched and now…. well you can see for yourself what a quick root soak in alcohol did for her…

You might be able to take some cuttings to propagate

Plant care mistakes make you a better plant parent, remember that. Hope your plant can make it through!

If it keeps looking worse you can probably still propagate.

luckily I took out some plant insurance and got about ten cuttings before repotting 👏🏼

but definitely still can get more. wondering if anyone has had success with props as a longer vine? like 5-6 leaves per prop?

I have! Pothos is easy for long props. I have successfully propped vines several feet long

I don't know if I've ever done it but I don't know why it wouldn't work

I would propagate half of it. That will give you a lot of plants to put into a large pot when the roots grow in. I would repeatedly run water through the remaining half in an attempt to flush as much alcohol out of the root system as possible. I would carefully replace all the soil. You might as well go big in the recovery attempts if it looks like it’s trying to die anyway. Good luck.🍀 🍀🍀

thank you sunny!! I took her out and gave her roots a really good rinse and then replaced all of the soil.
