I was gifted this snake plant and was wondering the best location for it? Iāve saw that some have them in their bathroom while others choose an outdoor spotā¦just want whatās best for my little guyš

eatyacarbssnake plants have terrible PR! Theyāre always banished to dark rooms but they LOVE light! I recommend putting this in the sunniest spot available to watch it thrive!

SueBI would put it in a smaller pot. There wonāt be enough root to absorb the water and you may risk root rot.

He definitely needs a smaller pot. They are pretty easy, theyāll tolerate low light conditions but theyāll thrive in sunny spots!

Is that a picture of the smaller pot? It looks the same to me. If so, he needs like a 4 inch starter pot with drainage holes. You could always sit the small pot in a planter if you want it to look bigger but too much wet soil will rot the little guy.

Yes, that is the smaller potš¤¦āāļø it does have drainage holes, it was advertised as a self-watering planter. I will go tomorrow and get a 4 inch potā¦this is a 6 inch pot heās in now. (He was in a 11.5 inch pot when gifted)

Loriās HouseThey like to be squished together so let it get pretty big before you separate or try to propagate. Mine do best when in bright indirect light but they can do full sun or low light as well. Donāt overwater it.
