How do I know what an appropriate sized pot is for my pothos? I had one in a pot that was too big and it got all droopy, so I put two into the same pot and it’s still roomy but the plant is perky again. However my husband brought me home two other variations from the local hardware store and they are PACKED in their small pots and seem to be thriving. I’m so bad with plants, pothos is the only thing I’ve kept alive but I’d like to see them all thriving.

they like to be kinda root bound. water once a week or when they start drooping, and they LOVE bright indirect light.

Always check the roots! 1-2 inches larger than the root ball when repotting. Otherwise pothos don’t mind being root bound. I usually repot them once roots are coming out of the drainage hole and leaves are yellowing more than usual.
