My marble queen pothos is struggling. This was one of my first ever plants in 2021. She has always grown really nicely. However, within the last year she continues to get yellowed leaves that I eventually prune off. It’s becoming more habit now despite remaining in the same location and being on Planta’s watering schedule. She’s finally showing signs of new growth, and I have a prop of hers growing downstairs that is growing more beautifully than the original plant ever has. New leaves coming in on the original plant are very pale and not like the typical marble queen leaves. Any thoughts on why her leaves continue to yellow despite no major changes to water/light? All of my plants are due for a soil/fertilizer change next weekend so hoping to tackle that and see if it helps but also worried nothing is going to bring her back to her former glory.

Are you checking the soil before watering or only following the schedule? The yellowing leaves and poor growth could be due to overwatering. If you are due for fresh soil next week it would be a good time to take a look at the roots and see how things look 👍🏻

You don’t necessarily have to follow planta’s schedule. Check the soil first… I wait for mine to completely dry. Sometimes so much the leaves tell me… turns she’s back to life. I just chopped mine up to propagate. Try cleaning yours up and give it a trim and propagate. Even the ones with no leaves. Throw it in sphagnum.
