Hi! First-time plant mom here and could use some advice. My pothos was thriving and I've been following all the care instructions. Just noticed a few leaves turning yellow though and I'm a bit worried. Any experienced plant parents know what might be causing this?

Sometimes my pothos does the same thing. I've had her for about 6 years and she thrives. Ive probably propagated like 15 plants from her and gifted them away. I move her around depending on how the lighting is in my house. I feel it happens most when she needs more sunlight, however, sometimes she just focuses her energy on new growth and lets some of her less important leaves die out. Pretty sure it's normal. I don't recommend following the care schedule as mine isn't correct most of the time. Get a moisture meter if you don't already have one and start checking your soil every few days. You can also just shove your finger in the soil but I prefer to use the meter. Hope this helps! Please update if it gets worst but I think your fine.

If Planta schedule is not working for you, then you can let it know that your soil is dry/wet and it will adjust the schedule for you if the schedule is incorrect unfortunately it’s because you haven’t been using all of the wonderful features of this app, I hope this helps :))

Agreed! I used to adjust my schedule a few years ago and then realized I enjoy checking my plants daily and just stopped tracking stuff through the app. I really only use the app at this point to keep progress updates and fertilizing schedules. The apps fantastic and taught me a lot in the beginning, while helping keep my plants alive 😂. P.s I love your collection!

When you say “following the care instructions”, what exactly do you mean? If you’re referring to the planta watering schedule, you could be overwatering which can cause yellowing leaves.

Looks like a few bottom leaves dying off. Plant looks healthy.
