Hi all! So I propagated these 2 from a friend a few months ago and they were doing fine when I moved/potted them, but they have started to get brown on the tips the last few weeks and I’m not sure why. They are in different locations in the house and one is in a small fish tank with a grow light. I’m new to being a plant parent so any help and advice is appreciated! Also I’m not entirely convinced these are pothos but the app thought they were when I first put them in. Thoughts?

It is an epipremnum pinnatum aurea, they are related to the pothos but not the same. They are finicky and that have precise needs or it will go into shock and wilt. So not a very beginner friendly plant. Here’s what I do for mine: I have an albo-variegated so it requires a bit more light, but bright indirect light for 12 hours. High humidity need, I keep the humidity in its area at 65% Lose chunky acidic soil, water when it’s 50% dry. Because it’s a slower growing plant. It takes time for roots to form, so I usually propagate by air layering. Fertilizer once a month if it has the proper conditions.

Oh dear. I’ll try moving them to less direct lighting and repotting!! Definitely using the wrong soil. Thank you so much!
