hi everyone, this is my first time trying to care for a plant! I have a golden pothos, I got her two weeks ago. I watered her last Wednesday and today. I’m wondering if these leaves are going to be okay, or if the shoot that are dark coloured are normal? Please give any advice, I’ll take anything I can get.
I think you’re overwatering. Water when the top inch of the soil dries out.

Go ahead and prune those off or trim the brown spots off if you can. Watch your watering and your lighting if it’s too close to a window then push it back or find a different location for your plant

Low humidity can cause emerging leaves to dry out. Add a humidifier or mist the new leaves.

좋아요 1개 I would recommend sitting your pothos on a small pebble tray.. these two type of pothos I have, I noticed they started doing amazing after I increased the humidity a tiny bit around them.., good luck
the brown part on the vine is normal - just mechanical damage, & the leaves currently unfurling a little damaged & dry also due to mechanical damage + possibly low humidity. you can cut off the vine in between the better & damaged leaves if you don’t like the look of them! they won’t grow back normally
좋아요 1개 wait the shoots that are dark colored might be the aerial roots, used to climb & root into trees/moss poles/etc for support
