   Hi! I would definitely cut toward the top to trigger more growth. You can also cut at the bottom and propagate and then replant at the top.

   Drainage pot is definitely a good start. Usually when they start looking leggy and sparse, it's because they are searching for more light. Cutting her back will encourage more new growth, and as someone suggested, you can propogate the cuttings and replant them into the pot to help get that bushier, full look.

     Hmm tbh its a preference thing for everyone. Personally if the plant has any long vines that are mostly bare with just a couple leaves on the end, i would chop that all the way back to where there are leaves closer to the base. And then you can chop the whole vine up into pieces that each have a node to propogate all those cuttings.

   You can also take the stems that are trailing and do them in a swirl pattern on top of your dirt. Use plant specific pins for this or bobby pins or paper clips work as well. Eventually, the nodes touching the dirt will reach out a new root. You always lose all your length, for now, but it will eventually be more full in the middle. I recently did this with a couple of mine because the dangly bits are too tempting for my kitties anyway. Apparently, the only before, and after photos I took were of the opposite plants, but you kind of get the idea here.

     So this plant in the sink was long and dangling like the prior photo and I just kind of wrapped it around and secured it down. Just make sure you don’t bury any of the green.
