it’s been a year and there’s only one new leaf. I’m wondering if it helps to re-pot the plant into a bigger pot? (So it can grow bushier and more new leaves?

    Check the roots! If the plant is rootbound you could go up a pot size or two which will help the growth but if there isn’t many roots even just refreshing the soil and putting it back into the same pot could help. If you pot it into a pot too big for the amount of roots it could lead to root rot

    They like to be a bit snug in their pots so I wouldn’t repot unless it’s root bound or its leaves are going yellow. They do focus on root growth for the first little while once potted after propagation so it might just be trying to get its foundation in place before pushing out new leaves. Check its roots and if all seems good just continue what you’re doing, she looks great!

      I agree, it looks great. It looks like it’s trying to slowly produce the vine stem. These plants like to grow within an already growing leaf to produce its vine. For mine, depending on the season and nutrient in the soil will determine how fast mine grows.

      Thank you for your tips and encouragement!! Since u mentioned yellow leaves, the mother plant actually keeps having yellow leaves (one leaf at a time) and the root isn’t growing too strong - it’s not growing properly. While I’m a bit worried about that (will try to figure out what’s wrong), I’m happy to see how this one is growing alright!

      You’re welcome! Keep doing what you’re doing the baby plant looks great!!! For the mum, if the leaves keep going yellow def time to check the roots. For mine I was getting several yellows towards the centre of the plant (old leaves) which is normal, but a sign to check. Since I only water mine when it’s 100% dry and it’s already in a chunky soil mix mine was a root bound issue. (Roots were growing out the bottom of the pot!) so I upsized mine and she’s happy once again. Make sure not to over water, bc that too could be a cause of yellowing leaves. Good luck!

      Thank you so much x Ah that sounds like it - I’ve been watering my plants once a week ish coz I thought it’s dry but I actually don’t know if the root is dry or not. Also could be the plant food (?) I should have diluted it more I guess (I guess it can also be a cause for yellowing leaves?)
