Hi everyone! I have a question! A while ago I got a Marble Queen. It had three different cutting in it when I repotted it (now it’s in water). I was wondering if anyone else thought these cuttings may not be a Marble Queen? Half of my plant is very very light variegated on the entire leaves. All of those leaves are connected to one root system. The other half, a different root system, is what I expect a marble queen to look like. The first image is the one I’m suspicious of. The second is for comparison. 💚

    Marble queen and snow queen are the same variation of pothos, just the snow queen has more white to it , so they’re not different cultivars iirc. My marble puts out a variety of leaf patterns all on the same vine, from full green to half and half to full marble (like your left leaf) to ones that are manjula-esque it all depends on the light the leaf received when it was growing.

      Is more light going to give it more white? Or vice versa? I’ve been wondering why people were asking how to make their plants more variegated. I thought they just grew however and variegation didn’t have any outside factors.

      Yes, More light equals more white (or yellow depending on the species) variegation. Half of my marble queen is highly variegated bc it’s on the window side and the other half is a nice mixture of all sorts of leaves. (Mine got a long vine *Fast* so it was difficult to rotate and now it’s too late lol)
