Keep the moss damp and strap the vine in with something

I strapped it with plant velcro and have been misting the pole daily. I’ve thought about dusting the small aerial roots with rooting powder - thoughts ??

Check it Sydney the plant guy on youtube has excellât Moss pole videos. He uses a small watering bottle to keep the poles moist to promote roots and big leaf growth. ( and man does he get big leafs!)

I use plant Velcro because it’s easy to readjust if needed. I recommend mixing the sphagnum moss with a bit of peat moss or coco fiber to help with water retention. Sphagnum gets hydrophobic really fast, and I prefer setups that are lower maintenance. I’ve also been experimenting with adding water wicks inside the pole and topping the pole with a water globe or upside down water bottle with a smal hole drilled through the cap so it self waters.
